One of the things I really enjoyed while living in Seoul was hot yoga. Hanging out in a sweltering 100 degree room while bending yourself into impossible shapes may seem like something banned under the Geneva convention, but it's actually a pretty awesome experience.
As you pour sweat into your yoga mat, you can feel all the crap you ingested that day exiting your system through your pores. Plus, because your body is super heated to somewhere just shy of blood boiling, you find yourself achieving positions and levels of stretches you thought beyond your reach.
The only down side, at least while I lived in Seoul, was that my body did not do well with the transition between hot hot room and frigid winter streets. I don't think that will be a problem this time around since we are on the brink of another hot and humid Pittsburgh summer.

Which brings me to the point of this entry, starting tomorrow I will have access to as much hot yoga as my frail northern body can handle for the next two months. I'm really excited to get back in to yoga and, hopefully, shape. We shall see if my enthusiasm lasts through the whole two months.
